Hiroyuki Okiura's award-winning second directorial effort, A Letter to Momo received the Jury's Special Mention in the Animated Feature Film category at the 12th annual International Film Festival "Nueva Mirada" for Children and Youth, held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from August 29 to September 4, 2013.

The festival is a project carried out by the "Nueva Mirada" (New Approach) Association,
with the support of the National Institute for Film and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA), the National Direction of Youth from the Ministry of Social Development, the Cultural Institute from the Buenos Aires Province, UNICEF, SADOP, and other organisms, institutions and private sponsors.
