Hiroyuki Okiura's second directorial effort, A Letter to Momo was awarded with the Jury Prize at the 8th annual Mon Premier Festival, held in Paris, France, from October 31st to November 6th, 2012. The jury was composed by children aged between 8 to 11.

Held annually in 10 theaters of the French capital and at the Forum des images, the Mon Premier Festival is devoted to stimulate the interest of the younger audience toward the seventh art through a playful and pedagogic approach. 150 films were selected for this year's edition, with attendance over 20,300.
