Hiroyuki Okiura's highly anticipated second directorial effort, A Letter to Momo is one of the eighteen animated feature films invited for the official selection at the 36th Annecy Annecy Animation Film Festival, to be held in Annecy, France from June 4 to 9, 2012. This year the festival received 82 entries for its feature films category.

Founded in 1960, the Annecy Animation Film Festival is the world's biggest and oldest animation film festival.
