A Letter to Momo in competition at the 14th Buster - Copenhagen International Film Festival for Children and Youth

July 13, 2012

Hiroyuki Okiura's highly anticipated second directorial effort, A Letter to Momo is screening in competition at the 14th Buster - Copenhagen International Film Festival for Children and Youth (Buster 2012), to be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from September 12 to 23, 2012.

"A Letter to Momo is a Japanese animation in the line of Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro, told with love, seriousness and a great imagination. A sweepingly beautiful and poetic little film for both young and old." (Buster Film Festival)

Founded in 1999, Buster - Copenhagen International Film Festival for Children and Youth is Scandinavia's largest and one of Europe's major children and youth film festivals, assembling and celebrating films from all over the world. Every year, Buster selects around 120 feature films, shorts and documentaries that offer an insight into other cultures or take the audience on a journey to fantastical landscapes and stories dreamed up by filmmakers from all over the globe. Buster aims to contribute to the development of young people's creative and critical awareness of film and media in a world constantly bombarded with moving images. Buster operates under the Foundation of the Copenhagen Film Festivals.
