Mizuho Nishikubo's latest animated feature film, Giovanni's Island is one of the seven feature films selected in competition at the 12th Anilogue International Animation Film Festival, to be held in Budapest, Hungary, from November 19 to 23, 2014. The screening in Budapest marks the film's Hungarian premiere.

Started in 2003 as Anifest, the festival was renamed Anilogue since 2008 as it begun to be held in both Budapest and Vienna. Back again to its Hungarian origin in 2014, it is now standing as a major animation event in central Europe. The competitive section for feature films has been introduced since 2011, selecting works that "combine state of the art technical quality with masterful story-telling."
