Mizuho Nishikubo's new animated feature film, Giovanni's Island is one of the twelve animated feature films selected for the AniMovie competition at the 21st Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film, to be held in Stuttgart, Germany from April 22 to 27, 2014. The screening in Stuttgart marks the movie's German premiere.

A Q&A session with producer and scriptwriter Yoshiki Sakurai will be held at the end of the screening.

With audiences totalling 50,000, 1,450 accredited professional visitors and 500 films in its latest editions, the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film is one of the most important and largest event for animated film. Since its launch in 1982, the Festival has continued to support artistic animated film, young talented filmmakers and the animated film industry.
