Kazuto Nakazawa's Asience: Hairy Tale has been selected in competition for the Under Commission category of the 16th Stuttgard Festival of Animated Films, to be held in Stuttgart, Germany from May 5 to May 10, 2009.

With audiences totalling 50,000, 1,450 accredited professional visitors and 500 films in the previous year, the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film is one of the most important and largest event for animated film. Since its launch in 1982, the Festival has continued to support artistic animated film, young talented filmmakers and the animated film industry.
