The Girl from the Other Side short film, directed by Yutaro Kubo and Satomi Maiya, has been selected for the Short Film Competition of the 21st Bucheon International Animation Festival (BIAF 2019) to be held in Bucheon, Republic of Korea, from October 18 to 22, 2019. The screening at BIAF marks the film's Korean premiere.

Directors Yutaro Kubo and Satomi Maiya are hosting the October 19 screening.

Started in 1999 and celebrating its 21st anniversary this year, BIAF is an Oscar qualifying film festival for animated shorts in the Republic of Korea since 2017.
