The Girl from the Other Side short film, directed by Yutaro Kubo and Satomi Maiya, is going to have its world premiere as part of the closing event of the 23rd Fantasia International Film Festival (Fantasia 2019), to be held in Montreal, Canada, from July 11 to August 1, 2019.
Directors Yutaro Kubo and Satomi Maiya, along with animation producer Kenta Yamada from Wit Studio, will be hosting the screening and introduce the film to the audience.

Started in 1996, the Fantasia International Film Festival is now recognized as the largest and most influential event of its kind in North America, a leader on the genre film scene and one of the Canada's most popular film festivals, boasting more than 100,000 attendees every year. With a varied programming and an emphasis on the imaginative cinema of Asia, Europe and the Americas, Fantasia's offerings range from unique and powerful personal visions to international commercial crowd-pleasers. It has been described by Quentin Tarantino as "The most important and prestigious genre film festival on this continent."
