The Ghost in the Shell: Virtual Reality Diver VR experience directed by Hiroaki Higashi in collaboration with creative director Nobumichi Asai, has been selected for the VR Film Competition of the 21st Bucheon International Animation Festival (BIAF 2019) to be held in Bucheon, Republic of Korea, from October 18 to 22, 2019.

Started in 1999 and celebrating its 21st anniversary this year, BIAF is an Oscar qualifying film festival for animated shorts in the Republic of Korea since 2017. The VR Film Competition will be held this year for the very first time.

Screening schedule:
The 13 VR experiences selected in competition will be accessible every day from 10:00 to 18:00 at the Special Exhibition Hall 1, located on the 3rd floor of the Korea Manhwa Museum. For more information, please refer to BIAF 2019 official website:
