The Ghost in the Shell: Virtual Reality Diver VR experience directed by Hiroaki Higashi in collaboration with creative director Nobumichi Asai is part of the VR Fantastic Competition of the 29th Imagine Film Festival (Imagine 2019), to be held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, from April 10 to 20, 2019.

The festival was created in 1991 as the Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival, before changing its name in 2009. Imagine is the biggest film festival for fantastic films in the Netherlands, with the best of science fiction, fantasy and horror. With the power of fantasy Imagine explores the future of humankind and society in light of technological and scientific developments. The VR section was inaugurated in 2018.

Screening schedule:
Access to the VR Screening Room is free and on daily basis starting at every full hour from 11:00 till 21:00. Ghost in the Shell: Virtual Reality Diver is part to the VR programme #7: Total Recall, where you will face the the side effects of a drug that is technology and deal with consequences of memory augmentation.
