Mamoru Oshii's Tachigui: The Amazing Lives of the Fast Food Grifters (original title: Tachiguishi Retsuden) has been officially invited in the Digital Odyssey / Panorama section of the prestigious 44th Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival (TGHFF), to be held in Taipei, Republic of China, from November 23 to December 8, 2007. The screening at TGHFF is also the movie's Taiwanese premiere.

Founded in 1962, the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival is a showcase for excellent films and outstanding filmmakers from all over the world, and has an attendance of over 100,000.
