B: The Beginning wins Platinum Remi Award at WorldFest Houston 2019

Kazuto Nakazawa's suspense animated series, B: The Beginning received a Platinum Remi Award in the Animation Category at the 52th WorldFest - Houston International Film Festival (WorldFest 2019) held in Houston, TX, USA from April 5 to 14, 2019.

WorldFest was established in 1968 by award-winning producer/director Hunter Todd to present a quality film festival for the independent filmmakers, and it became the third competitive international film festival in North America, following San Francisco and New York. WorldFest is the oldest Independent Film & Video Festival in the world, and it gave first honors to Spielberg, George Lucas, Ang Lee, the Coen Brothers, Randal Kleiser, Oliver Stone, Ridley Scott, David Lynch and hundreds more with their very first film.
Every year the festival receives over 4500 submissions from more than 70 countries and regions.
