Kazuto Nakazawa's suspense animated series, B: The Beginning has been selected in the TV Film competition category at the 42nd Annecy Animation Film Festival, to be held in Annecy, France from June 11 to 16. B: The Beginning is currently streaming worldwide on Netflix.

Established in 1960, the Annecy Animation Film Festival is the world's oldest and most prestigious animation film festival. This year the festival received 3026 films from 93 countries, and 216 made it into the official selection. 23 works have been included in the TV Film competition category.
