The Ghost in the Shell: Ghost Chaser VR experience directed by Hiroaki Higashi was greeted with the Jury Prize for best VR film at the 22nd Bucheon International Animation Festival (BIAF 2020) held in Bucheon, Republic of Korea, from October 23 to 27, 2020. This year, the VR Competition section showcased a selection of eight VR films from all over the world.

Started in 1999 and celebrating its 21st anniversary this year, BIAF is an Oscar qualifying film festival for animated shorts in the Republic of Korea since 2017. The VR Film Competition will be held this year for the second time.

Screening schedule:
The VR experiences selected in competition will be accessible every day from 10:00 to 18:00 at the Korea Manhwa Museum. For more information, please refer to BIAF 2020 official website.
