Episode 1 "D'Eon et Lia" of Le Chevalier D'Eon (2006), the high profile gothic mystery produced by Production I.G and Shochiku and directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi, has been officially selected in competition for the 11th Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival (SICAF 2007) in the category TV Films. This year the festival received 1275 applications from 65 countries. The festival, in its 11th year, will be held in Seoul, Republic of Korea, from May 23 to 27, 2007.

Supported by its broad and intense international network, SICAF aims at one of Asia's biggest international animated film festivals, presenting new technology and new trends of animated films. SICAF is an ASIFA (Association Internationale du Film d'Animation) recognized film festival that attracts than 100,000 visitors and participants every year.
