Kirin Beverage's commercial film Kirin Lemon 77: Enter the Seven Sevens, directed by Katsuhito Ishii, has been selected for the 11th Holland Animation Film Festival (HAFF) in the International Competition for Applied Animation, Commercial Film category.

Created for the 77th anniversary campaign of the popular Kirin Lemon sparkling drink, Kirin Lemon 77: Enter the Seven Sevens is the first of a two-chapter CM series directed by Katsuhito Ishii, who also developed the design for the 14 characters appearing in the spot. In the story concept, two teams, Seven Sevens and Monster Black, are competing in an imaginary neo-futuristic high-speed sport called "Sky Shoot." The 30" film was produced by I.G's Studio 9, involving staff from the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex series.

The Holland Animation Film Festival (HAFF) is an internationally recognized animation festival and offers a unique, state-of-the-art selection of animated films for a diverse public. Its 11th edition is held in Utrecht from November 1 to 5, 2006.
